AARON PRIDEAUX, BCA (VEED) HONOURS
3D CHARACTER ARTIST & MODELLER
“Originally when I discovered the Bachelor of Creative Arts (Visual Effects & Entertainment Design), I had my eyes set on the 2D courses that they had on offer, however only the 3D courses were available at the time so I did a semester of 2 3D classes instead. Little did I know that would change the trajectory of my career direction as I fell in love with creating characters in 3D.
For my 3rd year I explored game development by helming my own game project that was built with a small team and presented at AVCON to great success. In honours I decided to shelve the game project and explore 3D printing by purchasing an Anycubic photon printer to which I created and printed out a 10 inch tall figure of Anthony Robinson's (fellow Honours student) characters Tinker and Spell. Through many of my projects I have made a lot of friendships that will last well into my career and beyond and I eagerly look forward to what comes next.”
