3D MODELLER

GABRIELLE SAYS

“I first realised that I wanted to work in the creative art industry when I attended school holiday courses at Flinders University/CDW Studios and found that I loved to recreate objects in 3D. I wanted to follow my passion and therefore chose a career in visual effects and entertainment design. My strengths lie in my ability to pay attention to detail and think visually, as I have good visual spatial skills. I like to problem solve and thrive on the challenges this industry provides.

My aim for my career is to work in the film industry making hard surface models and props as a 3D modeller. I would like to work as part of a team to help create amazing worlds for film. I plan to work in Australia as well as overseas. I want to continue to practice 3D modelling and build upon the skills I have gained from CDW by creating exciting model designs. I’m excited to see where my career will take me.

As a graduate I would like to work as a 3D modeller using Maya, Zbrush and Substance painter to create hard surface models and props for film.”

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience at CDW Studios and Flinders University. I have learnt from the best teachers who have supported me throughout my journey to become a great 3D modeller. The classes were small, which allowed for individual attention and for making great relationships with class mates and teachers alike.”
